The truth about weight loss?

It’s hard!

Regardless of how you got here, you’ve put on a few pounds here and there over the years and now you’re overweight or you had trouble losing the baby weight or you’re overweight due to lifestyle choices or health reasons.

Diets are hard. Lifestyle choices are harder.

But, this stuff has to be done in order to help you reach your health goals.

There’s no better time to start than now.

No waiting until January 1st or the 1st of the next month, or waiting until next payday so you can have extra money to buy diet foods, etc. You have gotta start now. There are things you can do to lose weight starting today.

One of the best ways to keep track of it all is to track your journey.

Tracking Your Journey Like A Pro

This is a simple trick that helps you stay accountable and keep pushing forward to your weight loss goals.

Keep a journal.

This can even be on your cell phone.

The idea is to track your weight.

Weigh daily if possible and do this religiously, at all costs.

The best time to weigh in is in the morning.

You are lightest at this time and mornings are great for building a routine.

Tracking what you put in your mouth is helpful too.

Whatever you have eaten, good or bad, track it.

Write it down, add it to your journal and then look back at your week throughout the week.

If you lost weight, you can see what you ate to get you there.

If you gained weight, you can do the same, looking back at your week to see how you got there.
